Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Hornsby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Kellerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hornsby comes to the cage accompanied by Bareknuckle. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hank Hornsby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Kellerman!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kellerman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hornsby is looking to regain half guard here but Kellerman keeps moving and retains side control.
Kellerman controlling the position from side mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hornsby pushes Kellerman away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kellerman gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Kellerman controls the position.
Kellerman wants to control but Hornsby is keeping him busy.
Hornsby throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Hornsby knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kellerman on the ground.
Kellerman trying to control the action but Hornsby is working from the bottom.
Hornsby is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kellerman has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Kellerman scores with a couple of short elbows.
Hornsby is trying to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Kellerman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Kellerman is taking a breather. Hornsby says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Kellerman is nestled in close to Hornsby, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Kellerman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kellerman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Kellerman content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Hornsby pushes Kellerman off looking to stand but Kellerman dives back in and keeps control.
Kellerman not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Kellerman is trying to control the action in half guard but Hornsby is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kellerman tries to clinch up.
Good exchange - Hornsby coming out on top.
Hornsby throws a right and a left that Kellerman avoids nicely.
Hornsby swinging wilding here.
Hornsby is breathing heavily.
Hornsby throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hornsby throws a nice looking combination but Kellerman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Matt Kellerman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kellerman rushes Hornsby and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Kellerman pulls guard.
Kellerman looking for a sweep. Not yet Kellerman, not yet.
Kellerman manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kellerman working away from the top, dropping strikes.

Kellerman sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Hornsby takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The referee warns Hornsby that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Kellerman lands a nice shot to the head.
Hornsby working to try and regain half guard.
Hornsby wants to hold on but Kellerman pushes him away.
Kellerman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hornsby is looking to escape.

Hornsby is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kellerman wants to control the pace but Hornsby is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kellerman connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Kellerman trying to control but Hornsby is having none of it.
Hornsby squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Hornsby sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Kellerman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Hornsby missing with punches from the bottom.
Kellerman trying to control from half guard but Hornsby is working away.
Hornsby has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kellerman is working away from the top position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matt Kellerman dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Hornsby swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hornsby stuffs the takedown.
Hornsby darts in and out, connecting with a jab.


It looks like Matt Kellerman has been cut.
Kellerman shoots in but Hornsby avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nice takedown defense from Hornsby. No joy for Kellerman on that attempt.
Hank Hornsby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Kellerman.
Kellerman slips a jab and a cross from Hornsby.
Horrible takedown by Kellerman or perhaps it was just good defense by Hornsby which made him look bad.
Hornsby throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hornsby connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Kellerman! He's out on his feet! Hornsby rushes in and drops Kellerman with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Hank Hornsby!
