The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wesentlund fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Christian sprawls well initially but Wesentlund persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Christian tries to kick Wesentlund off but Wesentlund keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Wesentlund is pressing down on Christian's thigh, looking to free his foot. Christian is holding on for now.

Christian has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wesentlund is working away from the top position though.

Christian lands with a hook. Wesentlund tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Christian connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wesentlund's hands.
Wesentlund takes one to the chin there.

Wesentlund is rocked!
Wolf Christian is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wesentlund walks straight into a right hand from Christian - that's dropped him! Christian jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Wesentlund from any more punishment! Wesentlund complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
