Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Terrell Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hane Goshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes to the cage accompanied by Ghetto Soldier. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Terrell Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Hane Goshi!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goshi misses with a head kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Goshi.
Goshi lands a nice looking body shot.
Goshi goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Goshi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Goshi connects with a high kick.
Davis checks the leg kick nicely there.
Goshi throws a series of strikes that have Davis backpedaling.
Davis avoids the head kick by Goshi.
Goshi connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Goshi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Goshi throws a one two combo.
Davis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Goshi circles away.
Goshi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Davis takes a kick to the side of the head.
Goshi throws a head kick but Davis moves out of range.
Davis stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Goshi.

Goshi throws a sloppy head kick and Davis moves out of range easily.

Hane Goshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goshi throws a leg kick but Davis sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Goshi connects with a solid leg kick.
Goshi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Davis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Goshi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Davis somewhat.

Davis is trying to control the action in half guard but Goshi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Davis wants to control but Goshi is keeping him busy.
Goshi tries to kick Davis off but Davis keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Davis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Goshi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Davis.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Davis takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Goshi tries a head kick but it misses.
Davis sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Davis stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Goshi.
Some bone on bone action there as Davis checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Davis circles away from the clinch attempt.

Goshi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Davis!
Goshi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Davis is looking to escape.
Davis can't escape the position.
Goshi avoids the attempt from Davis to control.

Goshi looking to control but Davis is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Davis tries to hold on but Goshi postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hane Goshi dominated that round.
That's time! Davis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Goshi tries to clinch there but Davis circles away.
Goshi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Davis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Davis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Goshi wants to get back to his feet but Davis is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Davis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Davis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Goshi is looking to stand up but Davis isn't so interested in that idea.

Davis thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Davis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Goshi wants to get back to his feet but Davis is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Goshi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Davis's sensitive parts.
Davis shoots in but Goshi avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Goshi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Davis circles away quickly and effectively.

Davis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Goshi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Davis shoots in but Goshi avoids the takedown attempt easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Davis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Goshi as he jumps to the side.

Goshi lands a nice shot to the body.

Davis dives in and grabs Goshi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Goshi pushes down on Davis's head and hops out.

Goshi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Goshi scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Davis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Goshi pinned against the cage. Goshi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Davis is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Goshi decides to return to a standing position.
Goshi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Davis.
Davis takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Davis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Goshi's waist but Goshi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davis off to one side.

Goshi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Goshi stuns Davis with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Davis walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Davis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Goshi avoids it really well and circles away.

Davis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Goshi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Goshi is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Goshi is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Davis has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Davis is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Goshi is trying to escape and Davis transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Goshi is forced to tap! Nice work there by Davis! Very nice indeed!
