Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aquiles Baesta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and john davy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baesta comes to the cage accompanied by Confrontation. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
davy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
davy shoots in but Baesta avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Baesta tries to close the distance and clinch up but davy swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Despite being in the dominant position, john davy just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Baesta is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and davy defends well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Baesta tries to control davy's body but davy pushes him off. Baesta squirms to his side and now davy has his back!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aquiles Baesta.
I think davy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
