The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin looks to land a right hand but Tullimies moved out of range.
Tullimies throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tullimies just misses with a punch to the body.
Griffin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Tullimies slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Tullimies lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Tullimies keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Griffin slips a jab from Tullimies.
Tullimies lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tullimies swings for the body but Griffin moves out of range.
Tullimies shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tullimies cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Griffin tries to reverse the position but Tullimies maintains control.
Tullimies fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A nice elbow there by Tullimies.
It looks like Brian Griffin has been cut.
Tullimies throws some wild stikes that Griffin manages to avoid easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Griffin is desperately trying to improve his position but Tullimies has a good base and remains in mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Tullimies there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Griffin can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tullimies throwing strikes here but Griffin is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
The referee warns Griffin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That has opened up Brian Griffin's cut even more.
