Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between CockO SauruS (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ The Prodigy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). BJ The Prodigy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SauruS dives in and grabs The Prodigy's left leg, looking for a takedown. The Prodigy pushes down on SauruS's head and hops out.
SauruS fails with a takedown attempt.
SauruS lands with a kick to the temple. The Prodigy shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
SauruS shoots for a takedown but The Prodigy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for CockO SauruS. That's going to take a lot out of him.

SauruS clinches up against the ropes.

The Prodigy decides to pull guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The Prodigy had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. SauruS is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. The Prodigy Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take SauruS's back instead.
SauruS is in bad spot here.
SauruS rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The Prodigy landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

SauruS is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but The Prodigy pulls his head out easily.

The Prodigy is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, SauruS has managed to free his arm - good work.

SauruS tries to roll over but The Prodigy keeps him under control.
SauruS is working hard here to advance position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

SauruS closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

SauruS is looking for a kimura here.
SauruS is breathing heavily.

SauruS is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

SauruS is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. The Prodigy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time SauruS.

SauruS stops The Prodigy from getting back to his feet.

SauruS is working for a submission of some sort.
The Prodigy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with SauruS. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

SauruS seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. The Prodigy is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
