And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jay Money!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Money misses with a low kick.
Money bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Party! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Party is rocked!
Party is pulling down on Money's head. It's preventing any offense from Money, at least for the moment.
Party looking for a sweep. Not yet Party, not yet.
Party controlling the position.
Party bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Money's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Party trying to control the position from guard on top but Money is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Party trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Money manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Party wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Money is looking to stand up but Party won't let him.
Party manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Party looking to control and managing it successfully.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Party can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Money is looking to escape.
Money wants to try and get back to his feet.

Money tries to reverse the position but Party maintains control.
Party takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Money really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Money is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Party is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Party wants to control the pace but Money is squirming around nicely.
Money manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Money is trying to maintain the position but Party is very close to passing his half guard.

Party is looking for a kimura but Money is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Party to get the leverage.
Money is pressing down on Party's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Money is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jay Money dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Money fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Party chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Money can pounce on him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Money circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Party drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Money follows Party to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
