Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JP Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Abensur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels comes to the cage accompanied by Bottom of a Bottle by Smile Empty Soul. Dennis Abensur has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with JP Daniels's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JP Daniels!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dennis Abensur!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abensur closes the distance and clinches up with Daniels, looking for a takedown. Abensur pushes Daniels against the cage but Daniels circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Abensur fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Daniels manages to avoid it.
Daniels throws a shot from downtown. Abensur moves away and avoids it.
Dennis Abensur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Abensur got a little sloppy there for a moment and Daniels has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Abensur has managed to get both his arms back between Daniels's legs - danger averted.

Daniels had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Abensur is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Daniels Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Abensur's back instead.

Daniels has the hooks in. Abensur is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Abensur is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Abensur has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Abensur is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Daniels can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Daniels shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Abensur as he jumps to the side.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to JP Daniels.
