The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Abreu. No joy for Costa on that attempt.
Costa is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Costa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Costa takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Abreu throws a series of punches but Costa moves out of range.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Abreu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Costa.

Costa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Costa is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Abreu is surviving well by controlling Costa's body position as best he can.
