Wilson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Big Poppa. Thompson has chosen Collapse as his entrance music. Wilson has a takedown stuffed.
Thompson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Well, if Thompson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Thompson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
I looks like Thompson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Wilson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Wilson wants to control but Thompson is having none of it.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Frank Wilson just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Thompson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wilson's guard.

Wilson wants to stand and escape but Thompson is having none of it.

Thompson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Thompson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Thompson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wilson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Wilson is looking to get back to full guard here but Thompson has managed to pass to side control instead.
