The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Izreal lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ward fails with a takedown attempt.
Ward closes the distance and clinches up with Izreal, looking for a takedown. Ward pushes Izreal against the cage but Izreal circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Izreal fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Izreal connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ward shoots in for a takedown but Izreal shows good takedown defense.
Niggaz Izreal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Micky Ward.
Izreal misses with a two punch combination.
Izreal lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Ward is looking to close the distance but Izreal sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Ward crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Ward is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
