Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Biggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Biggs looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage looks to land a combination. Biggs sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Jason Biggs has been cut.
Savage stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Savage wants it to stay on the feet.

Biggs darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Savage lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Biggs circles away quickly and effectively.
Savage works over Biggs's head and body with a nice combination.
Savage swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Biggs could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Savage throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Biggs shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Savage defends it nicely.

No joy there for Savage, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Savage tries to roll over but Biggs keeps him under control.

Savage throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Savage keeping moving, preventing Biggs from controlling successfully.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Savage displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Biggs.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Savage lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Savage keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Savage leaves Biggs with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Savage closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Savage tries to bum rush Biggs with a series of wild strikes but Biggs uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Savage scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Jason Biggs's cut is getting worse.
Savage lands a nice hook to Biggs's body. Biggs takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Savage bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Savage connects with a nice cross there... Biggs is looking wobbly and Savage recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Biggs to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Savage jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
