The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Santos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bond swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Del Santos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bond.
Bond is trying hard to land a takedown here. Del Santos sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Bond shoots in for a takedown but Del Santos shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dond Bond. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bond fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bond fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Del Santos.
Bond shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bond showed some decent athleticism there.
Bond is looking to advance position but Del Santos won't allow it.
Bond seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Del Santos is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
