PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hazuki Zin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Forrest Penn has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Forrest Penn seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Forrest Penn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hazuki Zin!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn walks forward, straight into a front kick from Zin.
Zin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Penn throws a right and a left that Zin avoids nicely.
Penn is breathing heavily.
Penn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Zin tries for a takedown but Penn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Zin shoots in looking for a takedown. Penn tries to sprawl out of it but Zin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Penn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zin gets control of Penn's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hazuki Zin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hazuki Zin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Zin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
