Shanner is looking to clinch.
Shanner moves in looking to clinch but StPierre pushes him off.
StPierre works the jab nicely.
StPierre lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Shanner tries to clinch but StPierre moves out of range.
StPierre throws and low kick but Shanner moves out of range easily.
StPierre fails in his attempt to clinch.
StPierre lands with a kick to the ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shanner is breathing heavily.
StPierre dances in with a quick combination. Shanner is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from StPierre snaps Shanner's head back. Shanner stumbles backwards against the cage. StPierre steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Shanner's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Shanner just didn't come prepared.
