Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikon Holm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dick Tanner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nikon Holm!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holm looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Tanner controlling Holm's posture.
Tanner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Holm doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Holm manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Holm trying to control the position from guard on top but Tanner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Tanner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Holm shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Holm stands up and beckons Tanner to join him on the feet.
Tanner displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Holm.
Tanner closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Holm to the mat! Holm manages to get full guard.

Tanner throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Holm works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Tanner looking to sit in guard and control but Holm gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Tanner is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Holm stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tanner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Holm lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Tanner misses with a takedown attempt
and Holm counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Tanner trying to hold on to Holm's head to control him but Holm postures up.
Holm wants to control but Tanner is keeping him busy.
Tanner wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Holm seems to be working for a kimura but Tanner defends the submission attempt.

Holm is looking to stall here but Tanner recovers full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Tanner throws a sloppy head kick
and Holm counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Tanner!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tanner is squirming around, avoiding Holm's attempts to control the action.
Holm wants to finish this one by submission but Tanner is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Holm.
Tanner is desperately trying to improve his position but Holm has a good base and remains in mount.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tanner sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Holm seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tanner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Holm is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nikon Holm dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Tanner misses with a takedown attempt
and Holm decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tanner's guard.
Nikon Holm has got the better of the ground game so far.
Tanner looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Holm trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tanner is on top in guard.
Tanner postures up.
Holm avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Tanner trying to control the position from guard on top but Holm is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tanner sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Holm's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Tanner is looking to take a break and control but Holm is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Holm tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Tanner has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
BOOM! Tanner connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Nikon Holm's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
