Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, van chan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Winai Montri!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
chan keeps the fight on the outside.
Montri shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Montri fails in his attempt to clinch.
chan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
chan looks to land a combination but Montri avoids it well.
Montri scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Montri closes the distance and clinches up with chan, looking for a takedown. Montri pushes chan against the ropes but chan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
van chan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Winai Montri.
chan leaves Montri with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Montri shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts chan as he jumps to the side.
Montri tries to clinch but chan is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Montri shoots in but chan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Montri fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Montri looks gassed!
A telegraphed right hand from chan misses the target.
Montri shoots in but no luck this time.

Montri misses with a wild body shot.
Montri shoots in and drives through. chan sprawls well.
chan misses with a head kick.
chan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

chan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Montri looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
chan wants to control but Montri is keeping him busy.

chan has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Montri is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. chan yanks on the arm and Montri is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by chan.
