Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Strongius Shorticus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Austin has chosen Six Million Dollar Man as his entrance music. Steve Austin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Shorticus darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Austin is trying to maintain the position but Shorticus is very close to passing his half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Austin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Shorticus is working away from the top position though.

Shorticus shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Austin napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Austin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Shorticus with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Austin connects with a nice short shot to Shorticus's temple.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Shorticus throws out a loose jab but Austin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Austin, as that shot connected.

Shorticus shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Austin is trying to defend but Shorticus finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
