Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rorny Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bittersweet Symphony. McDonald has chosen March of Cambreadth as his entrance music. Eddie McDonald will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
McDonald won't allow Gracie to pass to mount.
Gracie throwing shots but McDonald is blocking nicely.
Gracie is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Gracie stands and throws McDonald's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gracie tries to move to full mount but McDonald actually manages to regain half guard.
McDonald wants to get back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. McDonald is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gracie Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take McDonald's back instead.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McDonald is in a bad position with Gracie working for a choke. McDonald manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

McDonald throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.

McDonald throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Gracie.

McDonald throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracie.

Gracie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McDonald manages to avoid it.

Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McDonald swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Eddie McDonald showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Gracie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
