PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julian Sandar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Danson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danson has chosen Country Boy Can Survive as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ted Danson!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandar tries to clinch there but Danson circles away.
Sandar looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Sandar gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Sandar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Danson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Danson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Sandar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Danson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Sandar throws a series of punches but Danson avoids them all with ease.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sandar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Danson's guard.

Ted Danson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Danson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
