Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wilson Rage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage wants to clinch.
Rage tries to close the distance and clinch up but McSwing swats him away and circles back towards the center.

McSwing closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McSwing lands in his opponent's guard.
Rage wants to sweep but no luck.
Rage is looking to stand up but McSwing isn't so interested in that idea.
McSwing won't allow Rage to sweep him here.
McSwing controlling from the top position.
McSwing landing with the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rage is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
McSwing is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Rage has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McSwing can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
McSwing trying to control but Rage is working from the bottom.
Rage controls McSwing momentarily but McSwing frees himself.

McSwing got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rage has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McSwing has managed to get both his arms back between Rage's legs - danger averted.

Rage looking for a guillotine here but McSwing defends easily.
McSwing content to stall in guard here.

McSwing has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Billy McSwing just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
McSwing shoots for a double leg takedown but Rage sprawls well. He's pushed McSwing's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rage lands a nice shot that snaps McSwing's head back.

It looks like Billy McSwing has been cut.

Rage throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McSwing sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McSwing shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rage pinned against the cage. Rage gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
McSwing is breathing heavily.
Rage stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rage scores with a nice head shot.
McSwing takes one to the chin there.
Rage lands a nice shot to the body.

Rage has closed the distance and engaged McSwing in a clinch.
Rage taking a breather.
Rage lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rage misses with the head strike.

Rage breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rage bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McSwing's head backwards.


McSwing is rocked!

Rage clinches.
Oh McSwing is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rage scores with a hook to the body.
McSwing seems to have got his legs back now.
Rage lands a left hand that snaps the head of McSwing backwards.

Rage breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rage lands a straight punch to the body, keeping McSwing at a distance.

Rage has McSwing up against the cage in a clinch.
A short left from Rage.
Rage dips a shoulder and cracks McSwing with a mighty uppercut! McSwing falls back against the cage and Rage unloads with a barrage of strikes! McSwing is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Rage screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wilson Rage!
