The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McManliness walks into a stiff left hand from Swicksizzle.
McManliness uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Swicksizzle.
Swicksizzle thows a body shot but no joy.
McManliness changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Swicksizzle tries to avoid it but McManliness manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Swicksizzle to the ground. Swicksizzle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice uppercut lands for Swicksizzle. That snapped McManliness's head back.
McManliness shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Swicksizzle as he avoids it easily.
McManliness closes the distance and clinches up with Swicksizzle, looking for a takedown. McManliness pushes Swicksizzle against the cage but Swicksizzle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manly McManliness. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Swicksizzle fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McManliness on the side of the head.
McManliness tries to bum rush Swicksizzle with a series of wild strikes but Swicksizzle uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McManliness closes the distance and clinches up with Swicksizzle, looking for a takedown. McManliness pushes Swicksizzle against the cage but Swicksizzle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Swicksizzle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McManliness circles away quickly and effectively.
McManliness tries to clinch up but Swicksizzle circles away and keeps his distance.
McManliness misses with a body shot.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Swicksizzle scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
McManliness changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Swicksizzle tries to avoid it but McManliness manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Swicksizzle to the ground. Swicksizzle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McManliness shoots for a double leg takedown but Swicksizzle sprawls well. He's pushed McManliness's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McManliness is breathing heavily.
Swicksizzle scores with a shot to the body.

Swicksizzle lands with a big right hook that stumbles McManliness - he's out on his feet here! Swicksizzle follows up with another monster hook that separates McManliness from consciousness! McManliness falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Swicksizzle stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
