Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maynard Keenan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keenan comes to the ring accompanied by Aenema. Miller has chosen New Divide as his entrance music. Charlie Miller looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Maynard Keenan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Miller!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keenan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Miller looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Miller shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Keenan pinned against the cage. Keenan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Keenan drives through and clinches with Miller against the ropes.

Keenan is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Miller can't fight it off and eventually Keenan manages to take the fight to the floor. Miller looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Keenan drops back looking for a leg! Miller is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Miller manages to kick Keenan off! Keenan jumps back into Miller's guard.

Keenan stands up and waves to Miller to follow him.

Keenan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miller, pushing him back against the ropes.
Miller tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Keenan just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Keenan trying to stall but Miller improves his position.

Miller drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Maynard Keenan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Miller.

Keenan pulls guard.
Keenan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
It looks like Keenan is going to stand back up.
Keenan works his way into full mount!
Keenan cracks Miller with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Keenan wants to control the pace but Miller is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Keenan thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Keenan has hold of Miller's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Miller manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Keenan has control of Miller's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Miller regains control of the situation pretty easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miller is looking to improve his position but Keenan isn't that keen on the idea.
Keenan tries to control but Miller wriggling away.
Keenan lands a heavy elbow.

Keenan stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Keenan shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Miller avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Keenan.
Miller is not content to let Keenan control the position.
Keenan wants to stand but Miller has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Keenan is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Keenan wants to control the pace but Miller is squirming around nicely.

Miller is squirming around, avoiding Keenan's attempts to control the action.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Keenan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Miller is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Keenan moves to the back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Keenan tries to clinch but Miller is having none of it.
A head kick from Keenan lands but Miller takes it in his stride.

Maynard Keenan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Keenan is pressing down on Miller's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Keenan throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Keenan is looking to stand up but Miller isn't so interested in that idea.

Miller is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Miller tries to free his leg and advance position but Keenan is retaining full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Keenan is on top in guard.

Miller has a closed guard, preventing Keenan from standing up.

Keenan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Keenan thuds his shin into the meat of Miller's side.

Keenan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Keenan stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Keenan tries for a takedown but Miller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maynard Keenan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Keenan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Miller sprawls well. Miller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Keenan gets slowly back to his feet.

Keenan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Miller did well to prevent Keenan getting side control.
