Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Nogueira Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dani Herc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcus Nogueira Junior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dani Herc!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior blocks a head kick by Herc.
Junior shoots for a takedown but Herc saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Herc with a poor takedown

so Junior counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Junior postures up.
Junior trying to control the position from guard on top but Herc is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Junior slips nicely into half guard.
Herc is trying to get back to full guard.
Herc trying to hold on to Junior's head to control him but Junior postures up.
Herc is looking to improve his position.

Herc is defending against the submission attempts here by Junior.
Herc really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Junior. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Herc moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Herc wants to sweep but no luck.
Junior lands a couple of elbows.
Junior is breathing heavily.
Herc is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Junior passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Herc is not content to let Junior control the position.
Herc is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Herc is trying to control Junior's posture but Junior avoids it.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Herc throws a sloppy head kick and Junior moves out of range easily.

Herc closes the distance and pushes Junior back into the cage.
Herc is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Herc gets underhooks to prevent Junior's takedown attempt.

Herc breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Junior avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Herc throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Junior is trying to trip Herc. He has hold of a leg but Herc is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Junior persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Junior slips nicely into half guard.
Herc trying to hold on to Junior's head to control him but Junior postures up.

Junior working over Herc with some ground and pound. Herc looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Herc is looking to escape.

Junior is looking for a kimura but Herc is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Junior to get the leverage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Junior is trying to work for a kimura but Herc is defending well.
Junior passes the guard and advances to mount!
Junior trying to control but Herc is having none of it.
Junior misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Herc gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Herc has Junior pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Herc pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Junior tumbling to the mat - Herc dives into Junior's guard.

Herc drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Junior dives on top into guard.
Herc is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Junior is controlling him.

Herc is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Junior locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Herc is forced to tap!
