Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drew Byrd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Prater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Byrd comes to the cage accompanied by false pretense. Tyler Prater will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byrd closes the distance and clinches up with Prater, looking for a takedown. Byrd pushes Prater against the cage but Prater circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Prater shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Byrd wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prater passes Byrd's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Prater is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Byrd sees it coming and defends easily.
Byrd might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
