Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross avoids the body shot from Ball.

Cross shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cross was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ball is squirming around, avoiding Cross's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cross is working for a guillotine from mount but Ball frees his head quite easily.

Cross is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ball can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Cross prevents Ball from getting the reversal.
Ball is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Cross can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ball is looking to escape.
Cross looking to ground and pound but Ball is blocking nicely.
Cross blocks Ball's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Ball is looking to get to half guard.
Ball wants to control but Cross is having none of it.

Cross tries to control but Ball wriggling away.
Ball tries to hold on but Cross pushes him away.
Cross prevents Ball from getting the reversal.
Ball really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cross. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cross wants to control the pace but Ball is squirming around nicely.
Ball has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Cross is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Ball has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Cross is not going to allow Ball to sit and survive in this position.
I really don't envy Ball right now.
Cross lands a shot to the head.

Cross has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Ball is defending well but eventually Cross manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Ball has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
