The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palma shoots for a double leg takedown but Buchanan sprawls well. He's pushed Palma's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Palma shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Buchanan pinned against the cage. Buchanan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Palma is looking to improve his position but Buchanan isn't that keen on the idea.
