The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Conca feints and as Phoenix raises his hands in defense, Conca changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Phoenix is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Conca is aware though and is defending well.

Conca is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Conca drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Conca jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Phoenix looking for a triangle here. Conca is fighting it but it looks tight! Phoenix pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Conca is tapping out - this one is all over!
