The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Machida is breathing heavily.

A swing and a miss from Hazen.
Hazen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Hazen has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Hazen scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Hazen uses his free foot to push down on Machida's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Machida.

Hazen postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Machida badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Hazen around the waist but Hazen pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Hazen is the winner by TKO! Hazen jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
