The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter tries to clinch but Perado moves out of range.
Perado walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Carter checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Carter tries to clinch up but Perado circles away and keeps his distance.
Carter moves away from the strike by Perado.
Perado misses with a series of wild punches.
Carter moves in looking to clinch but Perado pushes him off.
Perado keeps the fight on the outside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circling - Perado throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Carter wants to clinch up but Perado keeps it at a distance.
Perado avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Perado lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like Sabastian Carter has been cut.

and Carter is countered with a crisp right hand from Perado that sends him to the canvas! Perado follows him to the mat into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Perado decides to take the fight back to the feet.

and Perado counters with a solid body kick.
Carter is breathing heavily.
Perado tries to score with a low kick but Carter moves his leg out of the way.
Perado throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Perado throws the kick towards the body but Carter avoids it.
Perado dips to his left and cracks Carter with an uppercut!
Carter closes the distance but Perado moves to the side

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A right handed body shot lands from Perado.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Perado.

Perado pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Perado throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Perado sends Carter crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Perado is motioning to the referee to let Carter up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Carter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A solid leg kick lands there for Perado.
Perado flashes Carter a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Carter's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Carter crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Perado punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
