Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hollywood steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Matthers. That one must have hurt.

Matthers rushes Hollywood and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Matthers breaks from the clinch.

Matthers shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Matthers showed some decent athleticism there.
Matthers wants to take a breather but Hollywood is having none of it.

Matthers escapes and gets back to his feet.

Matthers takes the fight into the clinch.

Hollywood breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hollywood gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Matthers throws a big right hand that misses.
Matthers trying to control but Hollywood is working from the bottom.
Hollywood wants to stand but Matthers is controlling the position.

Matthers is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hollywood wants to stand up but Matthers is controlling him.
Hollywood is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Matthers distracts Hollywood with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Matthers stands and throws Hollywood's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Hollywood pushes Matthers away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Matthers gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Hollywood is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Matthers has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Matthers is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hollywood knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Matthers decides to take the fight back to the feet.
A cross from Hollywood lands.
Hollywood looks to land a combination. Matthers sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Matthers throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hollywood counters with a good low kick that Matthers was not able to check.
Hollywood fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Matthers is looking to clinch but Hollywood is avoiding it.
Hollywood scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Matthers tries to clinch but Hollywood is having none of it.
Matthers gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hollywood.
Hollywood lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Matthers is looking to close the distance but Hollywood sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Matthers crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Matthers is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
