Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Fertit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitch Kilman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fertit comes to the ring accompanied by Deliverance. Mitch Kilman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilman fails to land the takedown.

Fertit is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kilman's half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Fertit is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kilman sees it coming and defends easily.

It looks like Mitch Kilman has been cut.

Fertit is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Kilman has managed to free his arm - good work.
Fertit is looking to stall here but Kilman recovers full guard.
Fertit passes Kilman's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Fertit looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kilman looks like he's trying to stand up.

Kilman wants to control but Fertit is keeping busy.

Kilman is defending against the submission attempts here by Fertit.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Kilman is trying to get back to full guard.
Kilman won't allow Fertit to pass to mount.
Fertit thows a huge punch but Kilman dodges it nicely.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Fertit in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kilman tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Fertit!
