The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonson is looking to clinch but Pierre is avoiding it.
Pierre loads up on a big right hand but Jonson slips the punch.
Nice defenses there by Jonson.
Jonson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pierre circles away.
Jonson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pierre just misses with a punch to the body.
Jonson fails to land the takedown.
Jonson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pierre but Pierre pushes him off and we're back to square one.
