The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer throws a hook but LePierre avoids it easily.
Killer swinging wilding here.
LePierre shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Killer pinned against the cage. Killer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The fighters circling - Killer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
LePierre slips under a jab from Killer.
No joy there for Killer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
LePierre thumps Killer with a low kick.
LePierre shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Killer but Killer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Killer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Killer misses with a takedown attempt - LePierre sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
LePierre slips a straight right by Killer.
LePierre looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Killer is fending him off so far but LePierre persists. Nope, Killer circles away and we're back to standing.

LePierre shoots in looking for a takedown. Killer tries to sprawl out of it but LePierre keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Killer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and LePierre counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Killer lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

and LePierre counters with a thumping low kick.
Killer takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
LePierre lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
LePierre shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Killer pinned against the cage. Killer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Killer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

LePierre decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Killer, up you get!

Killer might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

LePierre feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

LePierre drops back, looking for a kneebar! Killer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Killer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Killer!
