Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hadriel Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thom Le Bou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le Bou has chosen in the Night Garden Theme Tune as his entrance music. Hadriel Peters has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hadriel Peters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thom Le Bou!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le Bou shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Peters tries for a takedown but Le Bou sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Le Bou tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Peters paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Peters counters with a single leg into guard. Le Bou didn't expect that.

Peters drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Peters jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Le Bou keeping moving, preventing Peters from controlling successfully.

Le Bou keeping full guard, as Peters tries to pass.
Peters trying to control but Le Bou is working from the bottom.
Peters seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Peters stops Le Bou from standing up.
Peters is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Le Bou closes the distance but Peters moves to the side

and Peters decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Le Bou's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Peters trying to control the position from guard on top but Le Bou is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Peters drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Le Bou manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Peters has Le Bou in his guard.

Peters isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Le Bou stacks Peters on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Le Bou!
Peters is breathing heavily.

Peters trying to control but Le Bou flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Le Bou working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Le Bou throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Peters is trying to break free.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Le Bou wants to control but Peters is keeping busy.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Peters trying to control the position but Le Bou manages to sink in the hooks.
Peters looking very determined here, making life difficult for Le Bou.

Le Bou looking to break Peters's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Peters remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Le Bou will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peters trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Le Bou controlling well, preventing Peters from escaping the position.
Peters trying to control the action but Le Bou just sinks the hooks in.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Le Bou's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Le Bou shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Peters counters with a single leg into guard. Le Bou didn't expect that.
Peters is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Le Bou controls Peters momentarily but Peters frees himself.
Peters wants to control from the top but Le Bou keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Hadriel Peters just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Le Bou lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Peters at a distance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Le Bou shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Peters as he jumps to the side.
Le Bou shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Peters pinned against the cage. Peters gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hadriel Peters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thom Le Bou.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Le Bou lands a head shot.

Le Bou shoots in but Peters avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Le Bou shoots in and drives through. Peters sprawls well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Le Bou has a takedown stuffed.
Le Bou lands a nice hook to Peters's body. Peters takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Le Bou throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Peters's waist but Peters gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Le Bou off to one side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Le Bou shoots in and drives through. Peters sprawls well.
Le Bou dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Le Bou scores with a sloppy right hand. Peters should have avoided that one.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Le Bou shoots in looking for a takedown. Peters tries to sprawl out of it but Le Bou keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Peters manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Le Bou tries to clinch up but Peters circles away and keeps his distance.
Peters walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Le Bou uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Peters has time to react.
Thom Le Bou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peters closes the distance and clinches up with Le Bou, looking for a takedown. Peters pushes Le Bou against the cage but Le Bou circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Le Bou sizes up Peters with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

and Peters counters with a shoot takedown. Le Bou fights it but they end up in guard.
Hadriel Peters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thom Le Bou.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Le Bou tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Le Bou bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Thom Le Bou has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Hadriel Peters is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Le Bou misses the shot to the body.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Thom Le Bou.
I think Peters has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
