Vito Ventura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Katama shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Katama showed some decent athleticism there.
Ventura moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Ventura has his foot on Katama's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Katama works his way back into a safe position though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ventura has his feet on Katama's thighs here. He's pushed Katama off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Katama screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
