The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Moreira with that takedown attempt.
Moreira dodges the punch combination from Botello.
Moreira tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Botello swivels and escapes.
Moreira fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Moreira changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Botello tries to avoid it but Moreira manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Botello to the ground. Botello escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Wellington Moreira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Botello tries to bum rush Moreira with a series of wild strikes but Moreira uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Botello ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Moreira slips a jab and a cross from Botello.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Botello connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Moreira tumbling to the canvas! Botello pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Moreira was done - good stoppage!
