Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Legato Effrairo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Casillas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casillas misses with a two punch combination.
Effrairo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Effrairo checks a low kick from Casillas.

Casillas throws a sloppy head kick and Effrairo moves out of range easily.
Casillas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Effrairo.
Casillas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Effrairo's waist but Effrairo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Casillas off to one side.

Effrairo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Casillas does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Well, if Effrairo is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Effrairo is pressed up against the cage. Casillas has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Effrairo down to the mat. Effrairo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Effrairo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Casillas - the referee stops the clock and Effrairo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Casillas. Effrairo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Casillas isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Effrairo stacks Casillas on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Effrairo!

Casillas has hold of one of Effrairo's legs. Effrairo is fighting the takedown attempt but Casillas gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Casillas is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Effrairo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Effrairo has escaped and now he's on top!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Legato Effrairo.
