Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamey Jasta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjaadi Peebles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jasta comes to the cage accompanied by Prepare For War. Peebles has chosen Apocalyptica & Sandra Nasic - Path as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamey Jasta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bjaadi Peebles!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jasta goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jasta is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Peebles.
Jasta misses with the combination.
Jasta shoots in for a double leg but Peebles sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jasta throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Peebles was covering up waiting for the punch and Jasta finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peebles wants to sweep here but Jasta controlling him for the moment.
Peebles is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jasta is aware though and is defending well.
Jasta drops back looking for a leg! Peebles is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Peebles manages to kick Jasta off! Jasta jumps back into Peebles's guard.
Peebles has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jasta can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jasta drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jasta jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jasta thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jasta tries to free his leg and advance position but Peebles is retaining full guard.
Peebles tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jasta is looking to clinch.
Jasta darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Jasta is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Peebles trying to control here.
Jasta is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Peebles is just riding it out for now. Jasta eventually gives up the hold.
Jasta working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Peebles's thigh. Peebles counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Jasta has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Peebles is proving hard to escape from.
Jasta is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Peebles is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Peebles has escaped and now he's on top!

Peebles must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Peebles wants to control from the top but Jasta keeps moving.
Peebles is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jasta has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Peebles is looking to defend but Jasta has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Peebles! Jasta pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Peebles taps out and this one is all over!
