Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between El BiJay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Muchacho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, El BiJay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hector Muchacho!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muchacho drops BiJay with a nice combination! Muchacho dives into BiJay's guard, looking to finish!


BiJay is rocked!


It looks like El BiJay has been cut.

BiJay working for a triangle but Muchacho defends it easily.
Oh BiJay is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!

BiJay looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
BiJay seems to have got his legs back now.
Muchacho really doesn't want to stay on the ground with BiJay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

BiJay working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Muchacho doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Muchacho manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

BiJay escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Muchacho gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

BiJay working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Muchacho doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Muchacho manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

BiJay has his foot on Muchacho's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Muchacho works his way back into a safe position though.

BiJay looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
BiJay thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Muchacho must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

BiJay will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

BiJay bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hector Muchacho is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Muchacho throws a right and a left that BiJay avoids nicely.
Muchacho throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

BiJay steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Muchacho.

Muchacho throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. BiJay was covering up waiting for the punch and Muchacho finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

BiJay is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Muchacho wants to stand but BiJay has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Muchacho got a little sloppy there for a moment and BiJay has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Muchacho has managed to get both his arms back between BiJay's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

BiJay had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Muchacho is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. BiJay Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Muchacho's back instead.
BiJay connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Muchacho to escape the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

BiJay is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Muchacho has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that El BiJay will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Muchacho's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Muchacho duly obliges.
Muchacho digs a good body shot into BiJay's ribs.
BiJay moves out of range as Muchacho strikes.
Muchacho stalks BiJay and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into BiJay's face. BiJay staggers backwards, shaken.
BiJay takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
BiJay shoots in and drives through. Muchacho sprawls well.
Muchacho shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has BiJay pinned against the cage. BiJay gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Muchacho throws a right and a left that both miss.

BiJay is looking for a kimura but Muchacho is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for BiJay to get the leverage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Muchacho can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to El BiJay.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for BiJay, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
