PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between DD Buttlover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arto Takalaukaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takalaukaus slaps away a takedown attempt from Buttlover, before circling back to the center of the mat.
The fighters circling - Takalaukaus throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Buttlover dives in and grabs Takalaukaus's left leg, looking for a takedown. Takalaukaus pushes down on Buttlover's head and hops out.
Takalaukaus throws a nice looking combination but Buttlover bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Buttlover ducks right into an uppercut from Takalaukaus.
Buttlover fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DD Buttlover. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Buttlover closes the distance and clinches up with Takalaukaus, looking for a takedown. Buttlover pushes Takalaukaus against the cage but Takalaukaus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Buttlover walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Buttlover is rocked!
Takalaukaus tries to bum rush Buttlover with a series of wild strikes but Buttlover uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Takalaukaus throws a right and a left that both miss.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Buttlover.
Buttlover fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Buttlover is breathing heavily.
Takalaukaus wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Takalaukaus dips to his left and cracks Buttlover with an uppercut!
Takalaukaus lands a right hook to the body.
Takalaukaus dances in with a quick combination. Buttlover is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Takalaukaus snaps Buttlover's head back. Buttlover stumbles backwards against the cage. Takalaukaus steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Buttlover's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Buttlover just didn't come prepared.
