The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenyon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Driffin.
Driffin slips a straight right by Kenyon.
Kenyon throws a hook but Driffin blocks it.
Kenyon looks to land a combination but Driffin avoids it well.
Kenyon misses with the combination.
Nice takedown defense from Kenyon. No joy for Driffin on that attempt.
Michael Kenyon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kenyon looks to land a left hand but Driffin moved out of range nicely.
Driffin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Driffin lands with a shot to the body.
Kenyon slips under a jab.
Driffin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Michael Kenyon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Driffin.
Kenyon misses with a looping left.
Driffin shoots for a double leg takedown but Kenyon sprawls well. He's pushed Driffin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Driffin is defended easily by Kenyon.
Good exchange - Kenyon coming out on top.

It looks like Tyson Driffin has been cut.
Driffin ducks straight into an uppercut from Kenyon and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Driffin maanges to regain guard straight away.

Driffin is rocked!

Driffin is looking for a triangle but Kenyon pushes his legs off easily.
Driffin looks gassed!

Driffin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kenyon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kenyon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Driffin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kenyon slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Driffin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Driffin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kenyon scores with a jab to the jaw.

Some wild striking there from Kenyon.
Kenyon throws a nice looking combination but Driffin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kenyon missing with a left hand there. Driffin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Driffin fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kenyon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Driffin tries to bum rush Kenyon with a series of wild strikes but Kenyon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kenyon cracks Driffin with a big right hand and Driffin goes down!
Driffin is still in real trouble! Can Kenyon finish him?
Kenyon gets to his feet and stands over Driffin, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Driffin felt that one! Kenyon unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Driffin from any more punishment!
