Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, American Saint!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elvis Armstrong!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Saint misses.
Good exchange - Saint coming out on top.
Saint moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Saint throws a series of punches but Armstrong moves out of range.
Armstrong tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Saint swivels and escapes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Saint misses with an uppercut.
A jab-cross combination lands for Saint and sends Armstrong crashing to the mat! Saint follows him down to the mat - Armstrong regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!


It looks like Elvis Armstrong has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Armstrong is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Saint pulls his head out easily.
Saint tries to stand but can't do so whilst Armstrong controls his leg.

Saint decides to stand up.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A combination from Saint does no damage.

Saint thows a left - swing and a miss!
Armstrong looks for a takedown but Saint sprawls well.
American Saint is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Saint lands a jab to the head.
Saint scores with a nice head shot.
Armstrong moves out of range of the strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Saint scores with a shot to the body.
Armstrong dodges the punch combination from Saint.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Saint waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Armstrong.

Armstrong defending well as Saint loads up on a big left hand.
Armstrong shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Saint leaves Armstrong with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Armstrong dives in and grabs Saint's left leg, looking for a takedown. Saint pushes down on Armstrong's head and hops out.

Armstrong moves out of range of the strikes.
Armstrong dives in and grabs Saint's left leg, looking for a takedown. Saint pushes down on Armstrong's head and hops out.

The fighters circling - Saint throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Saint connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Saint looks to land a combination but Armstrong avoids it well.
Good exchange - Saint coming out on top.

Armstrong uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Saint.
American Saint is winning the standup battle so far.
Nice takedown defense from Saint. No joy for Armstrong on that attempt.
Saint pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

American Saint dominated that second round.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Armstrong shoots in looking for a takedown. Saint tries to sprawl out of it but Armstrong keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Saint manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Saint defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Armstrong.

A telegraphed right hand from Saint misses the target.
Saint connects with a nice looking jab.
Saint throws a series of punches but Armstrong avoids them all with ease.
Armstrong fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
American Saint has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elvis Armstrong.

Armstrong looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Saint is fending him off so far but Armstrong persists. Nope, Saint circles away and we're back to standing.
Saint throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Armstrong.
Saint misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Armstrong is trying desperately to land a takedown but Saint is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Armstrong.

Saint lands a head shot.
Armstrong fails with a takedown attempt.
Armstrong has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Saint is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Armstrong can do to turn this around?

Armstrong shoots for a double leg takedown but Saint sprawls well. He's pushed Armstrong's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Saint fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Armstrong fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Saint avoids it really well and circles away.

And that's the end of the fight!
American Saint showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Saint has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
