Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between jon mikel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zachary Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mikel walks forward, straight into a front kick from Smith.
mikel looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Smith lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Smith.

Smith moves into range and clinches up with mikel.

Smith breaks from the clinch.
mikel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Smith thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on mikel if he has to take too many more of those.

Smith instigates a clinch.

Smith tightens his grip and picks mikel up, before dumping him to the ground. mikel manages to land in guard.

mikel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if mikel tries to get out of the position.
Smith moves into full mount! mikel won't be happy about that!

mikel is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Smith.

Smith has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. mikel is defending well but eventually Smith manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! mikel has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
