Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Danny Troy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khadir Hadji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hadji dives in and grabs Troy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Troy pushes down on Hadji's head and hops out.

Hadji instigates a clinch.

Troy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hadji looks for a takedown but Troy sprawls well.
Troy explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Hadji had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Troy is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hadji Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Troy's back instead.
Troy manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hadji's guard. Nice work there by Troy.

Hadji takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Troy is trying to stand back up but Hadji is controlling him

Hadji lands with a punch from half guard.
Hadji is taking a breather. Troy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

I would just about give that final round to Khadir Hadji.
