The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
grabaz tries to clinch but Wuzz moves out of range.
Wuzz scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
grabaz tries to escape but Wuzz is in control.
Wuzz is looking to take a break and control but grabaz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wuzz landing a few strikes.
grabaz pushes Wuzz away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Wuzz gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
grabaz manages to get back to half guard.
grabaz is breathing heavily.
grabaz is defending against the submission attempts here by Wuzz.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wuzz wants to take a breather but grabaz is having none of it.
Wuzz lands strikes from half guard.
Wuzz passes to side control.
Wuzz thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wuzz has an Americana. grabaz didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Wuzz is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Wuzz hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
