Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rob clinches up with Guntin Rodriguez and pushes him back against the cage.
Rob wants to break free but Guntin Rodriguez has control.

Guntin Rodriguez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Guntin Rodriguez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Guntin Rodriguez goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rob has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Guntin Rodriguez but great work by Rob.

The fight stays on the outside here - Rob looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Randy Rob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Rob. No joy for Guntin Rodriguez on that attempt.

Guntin Rodriguez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rob looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Guntin Rodriguez is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Good control from Rob.
Rob lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rob is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Guntin Rodriguez has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Rob has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Guntin Rodriguez taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Rob doesn't care though - he's delighted!
