The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cornholio tries to close the distance and clinch but Salo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Salo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Cornholio tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Salo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cornholio is still on wobbly legs! Can Salo finish him?

A big head kick from Cornholio and Salo is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Cornholio seems to have recovered his senses.

Cornholio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Salo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Salo loads up on a big right hand but Cornholio slips the punch.
Salo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cornholio's hands.
Salo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Salo drops Cornholio with a huge uppercut! Cornholio drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Salo is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
