Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gum Guerreiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Guerreiro.

Guerreiro is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. dos Santos doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Guerreiro.
Guerreiro is stalling here. dos Santos is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Guerreiro seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and dos Santos has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

That was a close round but I would say that Gum Guerreiro will probably get the nod.

Guerreiro moves in looking to clinch but dos Santos pushes him off.

Guerreiro feints and as dos Santos raises his hands in defense, Guerreiro changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
dos Santos thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Guerreiro here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

dos Santos had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Guerreiro is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. dos Santos Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Guerreiro's back instead.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
You can see the frustration on Guerreiro's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Guerreiro is looking for a sweep.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Guerreiro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but dos Santos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

so Guerreiro counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Guerreiro postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! dos Santos is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Guerreiro, into his guard.

I would just about give that final round to Junior dos Santos.
