Shagowitcz comes to the cage accompanied by I got erection - Turbo negro. Silva has chosen Bodies as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shagowitcz shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Shagowitcz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silva avoids the head kick by Shagowitcz.
Silva scores with a hook.
Desmond Shagowitcz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva slaps away a takedown attempt from Shagowitcz, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Silva connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Shagowitcz to the floor! Silva dives in looking for the finish!
Shagowitcz is rocked!
Silva stops Shagowitcz from getting back to his feet.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Silva decides to stand up.
Shagowitcz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Horrible takedown by Shagowitcz or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva which made him look bad.

A big head kick from Silva and Shagowitcz is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Desmond Shagowitcz has been cut.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shagowitcz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silva stands up and waves to Shagowitcz to follow him.
Shagowitcz drops his hands momentarily and Silva needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Shagowitcz just on the top of the head. Shagowitcz drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Shagowitcz - he's done!
